Another strong aftershock of 5.5 magnitude with its epicentre near Kathmandu was felt on Saturday evening.
Following the aftershock, thousands of people came out in the streets fearing house collapses and damage.
This has created more panic among the people, who are again living in open spaces.
Several aftershocks were recorded on Saturday morning by the National Seismological Centre said beginning with a 4-magnitude tremor at 2.15 a.m. that jolted Gorkha.
At 4.28 a.m., a quake measuring 4.1 on the Richter scale occurred in Dolakha
A quake of the same magnitude with its epicentre in Dolakha district was recorded at 4.38 a.m.
A tremor measuring 4 on the Richter scale was recorded at 6.11 am in Nuwakot.
A 4-magnitude quake was recorded at 6.31 a.m. with its epicentre in the border area of Dhading and Gorkha districts.
Seismologists have urged the people not to worry about the minor aftershocks and denied rumours in social media and other online media about earthquakes.
