A 22-year-old student of hotel management was found hanging in his room here Wednesday, police said.
No suicide note was found, and officials from the Sadar police station said they were tracking the mobile phone calls of the deceased, Hemant Kumar Sharma.
The officials said that after tracking the phone call details, they may know why he killed himself.
Sharma's classmates said his relationship with his family members was tense due to his love affair with a girl.
The son of a retired army man, Sharma was pursuing a hotel management course in a local college.
His family members told police they were not aware of any specific reason why he committed suicide.
