It also had master Chefs educating children about the importance of hygiene. The objective of the event was to explore new ideas for the betterment of the life of underprivileged children.

"It's a great initiative by the chefs to come together and work for a social cause, going beyond their regular cooking schedule. We served good meals for the kids and educated them on how to maintain good hygiene for theirs and their family's disease free life," ICF President Davinder Kumar said in a statement.

The ICF was formed in 1987 as a non-profit-making organisation, dedicated to the advancement of the culinary art in India.

"If we are good at something, why not do it for a good cause. I would like to thank other chefs for the flagging zeal and unwavering support as we continue to explore new areas of work and better lives of underprivileged children," ICF General Secretary Chef Vivek Saggar said.
