It was a sunny Friday morning here with the minimum temperature settling at 23.2 degrees Celsius, four notches above the season's average, the Met office said, adding that there was a possibility of strong surface winds and light rain later.
"It would be a partly cloudy sky in the day with possibility of dust storm or thunderstorm with very light rain. There is also a possibility of strong surface winds during the day," an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said.
The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 37 degrees Celsius, while the humidity at 8.30 a.m. was recorded at 74 per cent.
On Thursday, the maximum temperature was 38.7 degrees Celsius, three notches above the seasons's average, while the minimum settled at 23 degrees, two notches above the normal.
