It was a sunny Saturday morning here with the minimum temperature settling a notch below the season's average at 26.6 degrees Celsius.
The Met Office has forecast a partly cloudy day ahead.
"The maximum temperature would hover around 38 degrees Celsius," an official of the India Meteorological Department said.
Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 63 percent.
Friday's maximum temperature settled four notches above the season's average at 39.8 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 27.6 degrees - three notches below the season's average.
