Superstar Shah Rukh Khan prefers taking everything with a pinch of humour -- and he did the same following the death hoax around him.

Earlier this week, the 51-year-old became a victim to a death hoax when an European news network titled El Pais TV reportedly announced a 'breaking news' that Shah Rukh was "killed along with seven others when a private jet he was travelling in crashed".

The "Fan" star had also escaped an accident on the sets of his upcoming film being helmed by Aanand L Rai on Tuesday when a portion of the ceiling fell off.

Shah Rukh on Friday took to Instagram and Twitter, where he shared a photograph of himself holding his head. A caption on the photograph read: "Phew".

"Survived the week in spite of a plane crash, fatal accident on sets and yet another title of Imtiaz Ali film," he wrote further.

Alia is 'nervsxcited'

Actress Alia Bhatt, who will perform at the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards for the first time at its 18th edition in New York, says she is nervous and excited about her act.

The actress has been nominated for the Best Actress for two of her films -- "Dear Zindagi" and "Udta Punjab".

"I think I am 'nervsxcited'. Yes, I am nervous and excited at the same time not because of my nominations but for my performance as this is my debut. I am doing a lot of preparation.

"I want to look good on the green carpet as well as on stage. I am really looking forward to the event," Alia said here during a video call with international media.

Asked what are the songs she will be performing on, Alia said: "It will be a mix of a couple of hit songs from my film 'Badrinath Ki Dulhania', 'Kapoor & Sons'... It will be an energetic performance."
