Senior Bihar BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi on Tuesday demanded disciplinary action against party MP Kirti Azad for targetting Finance Minister Arun Jaitley over the DDCA issue.
This is the first time that action against Azad has been demanded by a senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader after he targeted Jaitley on alleged irregularities in the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA).
Sushil Modi said the "party is likely to act against Azad after the winter session of the parliament".
Cricketer-turned-politician Azad is a BJP MP from Bihar's Darbhanga constituency and the son of former Bihar chief minister Bhagwat Jha Azad.
