Upcoming Tamil thriller "Kutram Kadithal" has been selected for the Indian Panorama section of the 45th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) to be held in Goa next month.
IFF, a 10-day film festival, is scheduled to start Nov 20.
"It is indeed a great honour and this will motivate me to surf for more talents and give Tamil films an international recognition," film's producer J.S.K. Satish said in a statement.
This is Satish's second Tamil film after "Thanga Meengal" to be selected for IFFI.
A total of 26 features and 15 non-features have been selected for the Indian Panorama section at this year's fest.
The feature section has seven films each in Malayalam and Marathi, five films in Bengali, two in Hindi, and one film each in Assamese, Kannada, Khasi, Odiya and Tamil.
Some of the films to be featured at the fest include "Yellow", "Killa", "24 North Kaatham", "Candles in the Wind" among others.
Megastar Amitabh Bachchan will be one of the chief guests at the festival.
