Information technology (IT) major Tech Mahindra and mobility solutions firm Mahindra Comviva on Wednesday jointly launched Data Revenue Booster (DRB) for mobile operators.
DRB allows communication service providers to open up additional revenue opportunities while delivering innovative services to users.
"Tech Mahindra is excited to bring the Mobile Data Revenue Experience platform to CSPs. Tech Mahindra's deep domain expertise simplifies and accelerates the integration of the solution, paving the way for a quicker realization of the collaboration benefits," said Shailesh Patwardhan, Technical Fellow, Tech Mahindra, in a statement.
The DRB Solution bridges the gap between operator networks and content services by exposing the Operations Support System (OSS) and Business Support Systems (BSS) capabilities of operators to content providers and vice versa.
Based on Mahindra Comviva's mBAS suite, the DRB Solution enables apps such as YouTube to trigger customized real-time data offers, leading to a seamless YouTube watching experience.
