The KFC Twenty20 Big Bash League Technical Committee Tuesday approved changes to the Melbourne Renegades squad.
Daniel Harris and Matthew Gale have been passed fit and will resume their places in the Renegades squad, while Jayde Herrick has been ruled out due to injury.
Harris's replacement Solomon Mire will subsequently be removed from the Renegades' 18-player squad, however Gale's replacement Andrew Fekete will retain his place in the team as replacement for Herrick.
Under the new BBL playing conditions for this season, Herrick will be able to resume his place in the squad if he recovers from injury and is fit to resume playing duties before the end of the tournament.
The BBL action continues over the New Year period, including Tuesday's inaugural New Year's eve match at the newly-redeveloped Adelaide Oval, as well as fireworks, aerial acrobats and a post-game light show choreographed to music with dancers.
