Indian graduates applying abroad for a masters and management programmes have more dates and locations to choose when registering for the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) revised general test, an official said Monday.
"Interest in the GRE revised general test has been steadily growing as more people are choosing to submit GRE scores when applying for a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) or specialised master's programme, so additional testing centres are being made available across the country to support the growing demand," said Dawn Piacentino, director, communications and services, Educational Testing Service.
Test centres have been added in Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Kolkata, Dehradun, Hyderabad, Mumbai, New Delhi, Vadodara and Vasad.
"The number of graduate schools around the world who accept GRE scores is also on the rise, giving GRE test takers a lot of options," added Piacentino.
The test centres being offered are through the prometric test centre network and at additional official testing locations outside of the prometric test centre network.
Authorised Prometric Testing Centres are dedicated to the delivery of certification tests for professionals in information technology.
