Three men have been arrested here on charges of robbing a finance company of cash and jewellery worth Rs.27 lakh last month, police said Monday.
A police officer said Mohit, Gaurav and Luvi Rajpur were caught from a Hindu temple near Ashram road. They admitted they robbed Muthoothu Mini Financiers Ltd Nov 26.
The three reportedly told their interrogators that they decided to rob the company when they went to seek a loan and noticed that security in the firm was lax.
Police said they had recovered 1,130 grams of gold and Rs.60,000 in cash.
The police also seized two pistols of .315 bore and a pistol of .12 bore used in the crime.
