Three people were Monday arrested for kidnapping six members of a family, including a woman and two children, police said.
Rakesh Saini, Gulshan and Sachin -- all residents of Gurgaon -- were arrested for extortion and kidnapping Sonu Gupta, his wife and two children, and two brothers.
They were abducted Nov 14 and kept hostage in a house since then, police said.
Police were informed and all the kidnapped people were rescued unhurt from the house in Ashok Vihar area, within hours after the complaint, a police officer told IANS.
Sonu and his brothers are fruit-sellers and took Rs.1 lakh from one of the accused.
"I paid back the maximum amount but the accused wanted more. So he abducted my whole family," Sonu Gupta, who lives in Shivaji Nagar area, told police.
Seven more accused in the case are absconding, police said. The arrested men were sent to police custody.
