At least three people were killed and four others missing after a boat overturned amid bad weather in a lake in northern Turkey Sunday, media reported.
Five fishermen and two children fell into the Gici Lake in the Samsun province of Turkey's Black Sea Region amid inclement weather conditions, Xinhua reported, citing the Dogan News Agency.
"The boat with seven people overturned because of a storm," Samsun Governor Ibrahim Sahin was quoted as saying, adding that the fishermen were warned about the bad weather, but they insisted on sailing.
Turkish rescue and emergency teams have found the bodies of three fishermen and a search for the survivors is underway.
