Three killed in accident on Jammu-Srinagar highway
Three people were killed on Monday in a freak road accident on the Jammu-Srinagar national highway at Batote in Doda district.
A senior police officer said a senior retired State bank of India officer, Sukhdev Singh, and two women died on the spot when a truck went out of the driver's control and fell on the top of their car.
"Police have registered a case...and arrangements are being made to send the bodies of victims to the valley...," police said.
