Three people were arrested for murdering their neighbour following a heated argument, police said Monday.
Gurmeet Singh, 22, Sukhwinder Singh, 24 and Pyara Singh, 24 were arrested from Subhash Nagar metro station late Saturday night on a tip-off. They all resided in west Delhi's Tilak Vihar area.
According to police, Gurmeet had a rivalry with the victim Ramesh, one of his neighbours, for long.
On April 9, Gurmeet had beaten up Ramesh's friend Sunny which further raised tension between the duo and led to an altercation on phone where both threatened to kill each other.
An infuriated Gurmeet along with the other two accused landed at Ramesh's house minutes later and stabbed him to death, police said.
