Actor Gaurav Arora, who made his debut in the Hindi film industry with the thriller "Love Games", is now geared up for the release of "Raaz Reboot". He says the market is huge for thriller and horror content in India.
"I think thriller and horror has a huge market in India. For instance, 'Raaz' is a super successful franchise. Apart from that, 'The Conjuring', 'The Conjuring 2' and 'Annabelle' have done really well here," Gaurav told IANS.
However, the 26-year-old feels that most actors are not quite keen to dabble in the genres.
"What I feel is we do have a huge market, but somewhere the actors are apprehensive to be a part of such films... Though I consider myself to be very lucky to do a film like this," he added.
Gaurav is himself keen to explore other genres as well.
"I would love to do an out-and-out love story or an action film," Gaurav said.
Directed by Vikram Bhatt, "Raaz Reboot" is the fourth instalment of the "Raaz" franchise and features Emraan with south Indian actress Kriti Kharbanda. The film has been shot in Romania.
Produced by Vishesh Films, the film will release on September 16.
