A debt-burdened man in a Madhya Pradesh village allegedly allowed the lender to sleep with his wife in settlement of dues. The man and the lender were arrested after the woman complained to police.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Bharat Kirar told IANS on Wednesday that the woman's husband Raja often took loan from Hakim and the outstanding amount had piled up.
Unable to return the loan, Raja came to an agreement with Hakim whereby he allowed the lender to sleep with his wife in settlement of all outstanding dues.
The woman complained to police after she was raped by Hakim.
Both Raja and Hakim have been booked under IPC section 376 (for rape).
