Two- and three-wheeler maker TVS Motor Company Ltd said on Wedneday that it closed June with eight percent sales growth as compared to the corresponding month in 2014.
In a statement issued here, the company said it sold 2222,099 units (two-wheelers 211,002 units, three-wheelers 11,097 units) last month up from 205,403 units (two-wheelers 196,486 units, three-wheelers 8,917 units) sold in June 2014.
During the first quarter of the current financial year, the company's sales volume increased by nine percent over the corresponding period of the previous year.
The company sold around 638,000 units during the first quarter of 2015-16 as against around 584,000 units sold during the first three months of 2014-15.
