Twitterati have so far voted for an increased focus on the agriculture sector in a Finance Ministry's pre-budget poll, which is open for three more days, on its official twitter handle.
In the Twitter poll, Finance Ministry has asked the users as to which section needs more focus in the forthcoming Budget. An increasingly large number of users so far have voted in favour of farmers, followed by youth, underprivileged and then women and children.
In another question, the ministry has sought suggestion from the twitterati as to which area should be given priority for employment generation.
The voters so far have voted the maximum for the micro-small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), followed by low cost housing, automobile spare parts and then garments.
