Two Amarnath Yatra pilgrims were killed and four others injured in a landslide on the trek to the Jammu and Kashmir cave shrine from the Baltal base camp on Tuesday, police said.

Police said two Yatris were killed and four others injured when they were hit by a landslide triggered by rain in Brarimarg-Railpatgri area of the trek.

"The injured Yatris have been shifted to hospital," police said.

Flash floods also hit the Baltal base camp on Tuesday, but there was no casualty as water remained confined to the parking lot of the camp without affecting its main area.
