Supporters of BJP MP Alok Sanjar and MLA Rameshwar Sharma were allegedly involved in a fracas with a section of party workers here on Sunday over an event.
The situation became tense at a ground-breaking ceremony for a road in Kolar area when a section of Bharatiya Janata Party workers led by councillor Ban Phool Meena's husband Shyam Meena opposed it.
Shyam Meena and his supporters maintained that the event could not be held as the ritual had already been performed.
There were tense moments as the two opposing groups tried to push and shove each other, though the situation somehow did not go out of control. A video clipping of the incident later went viral on the social media.
