Norway has charged two men over alleged terror activities, a media report said.
Ishaq Ahmed, 24, and a 49-year-old employee of Aker Solutions -- one of the country's leading oil service companies -- were charged on Monday under Norway's new anti-terror law, The Local news reported.
According to the indictment, Ahmed stands accused of pledging allegiance to the Islamic State (IS) and Al Nusra terror groups.
He then obtained weapons and fought in Syria for nearly five months until he returned to Norway with a bullet wound on his leg.
The second man was charged with recruiting people to terror groups.
Both have rejected the charges.
Monday's charges came just days after a Norwegian court sentenced three men to jail after they were convicted of joining or supporting the IS.
It was the first time a Norwegian court has dealt with a case in which Norwegian citizens are accused of having participated in combat operations for IS in Syria.
