Asian silver medallist Santosh Kumar and junior world bronze medallist Narender Grewal of Delhi have been selected for 12th World Wushu Championship to be held at Badminton Stadium, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from Oct 28 to Nov 6.
Both players are a medal hope for India. Santosh reached the quarter-finals of the 11th World Wushu Championship held at Ankara, Turkey in 2011. He also won silver at the 2012 Asian Wushu Championship held at Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
Grewal has represented India in the senior world championship and has won bronze in the 2012 junior world championship.
The 15-player contingent will depart Monday to participate in the World Wushu Championship.
