Two people were killed and 19 injured in an explosion Wednesday at a bakery in downtown Beijing, official sources said.
Four people were severely injured, Xinhua quoted sources as saying.
The explosion occurred at 7.33 a.m. in Golden Phoenix Bakery store on Guangming road.
The fire has been put out and two gas tanks containing 50 kg of liquefied gas have been removed.
