Two drown in Ganga in UP

Two youngsters drowned in the Ganga river on Thursday when they went for a bath in Shahjahanpur district of Uttar Pradesh, police said.

Divers managed to save three others from the same group, a police officer said.

The five had gone to the Dhai Ghat. While Pittu and Golu lost their lives, Vasram, Mukul and Vasant were rescued by the divers, the officer said.
