Two minors have been taken into custody for allegedly raping a fellow student after abducting her from school, police said on Saturday.
The two boys, both aged 14, were apprehended from their houses in a village near sector 45 here. Both the victim and accused are students of a government school near sector 45.
The accused allegedly abducted the victim after school on Wednesday and took her to a deserted place in sector 46, where they took turns to rape her.
The victim narrated the story to her mother Friday night after some physical complications. Her statement was recorded before a magistrate after medical examination.
"The accused were apprehended and were sent to a juvenile home," Assistant Commissioner of Police Rajesh Kumar told IANS.
A case was registered at Sadar police station under various sections of Indian Penal Code and Prevention Of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
