Two passengers were killed and at least 30 people were wounded Sunday in a bus accident in southern France's Aude region, a media report said.
The bus "passed over the security fence" around 1.30 a.m., before overturning and falling several metres below the road, Xinhua cited the BFM TV news channel as saying.
The driver told investigators the accident was due to an altercation with a passenger who grabbed the steering wheel.
The bus was carrying 44 tourists from France, Ukraine, Russia and Spain. It was heading to Murica in Spain from Marseille.
