At least two army personnel were killed and one person injured in a bomb attack in the western part of the Afghan capital on Friday evening, media reported.
"A sticky bomb attached to an army vehicle was detonated in Fazil Baig locality, leaving two soldiers dead, and one person aboard the vehicle wounded," a security official told Xinhua.
The killed and the injured were shifted to a nearby hospital before being transported to an army hospital in central Kabul, the sources added.
The blast damaged several vehicles and shattered glasses of nearby buildings.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack, but the Taliban insurgent group routinely claims responsibility for such attacks.
