Two men were murdered by their friends in two separate incidents, police said Tuesday.
Both the incidents happened late Monday night.
In the first incident, Jagdish, 40, who worked in a sweet shop was beaten to death by his friend Suresh after an argument over a trivial issue in south Delhi's Mehrauli area.
Police arrested Suresh from Jagdish's house, where they had consumed alcohol before fighting.
The second incident happened in Kalkaji area, also in south Delhi, where Rajinder, 22, was stabbed by his friend near his home.
However, the police have not yet named the assailant. A police officer said the accused has been identified and will be arrested soon.
Police said there were at least 12 stab wounds on Rajinder's body. However, the reason behind the attack is yet to be ascertained.
