Two people were arrested for killing a passenger vehicle driver who extorted money from them, police said Tuesday.
"Arif, 28, and Sher Khan, 19, were arrested from near Sarai Kale Khan bus stand in south Delhi Tuesday evening," said an officer.
According to Deputy Commissioner of Police Sanjeev Kumar Yadav, Kuldeep alias Leela was shot dead by the duo along with another accomplice Shahrukh in Uttam Nagar area in west Delhi June 29.
"Kuldeep extorted money from them to run a (three-wheel passenger) vehicle. They plotted the murder and used a country made pistol in the crime," said Yadav.
Shahrukh is absconding, police said.
