A speeding vehicle with three buffaloes and four robbers crashed into a house bringing down its front portion early Friday, killing two of the men and a buffalo, police said.
The incident took place around midnight near Khairagarh, a town 30 km from Agra.
With help from villagers, the robbers trapped under the debris were extricated Friday morning. The delay led to the death of two. Two others were seriously injured.
The three animals had been stolen, and one of them died too, police officer Santosh Kumar told IANS.
The robbers were trying to escape with the buffaloes with some villagers giving chase on motorcycles. Their driver couldn't control the vehicle and rammed into the house.
