Two soldiers were injured late Saturday in an accidental explosion in Machil sector in Jammu and Kashmir's Kupwara district.
Police sources said an explosion occurred when weapons were being cleaned. The two soldiers were identified as Havaldar Jaipal Singh and Naik Vikram Mane.
The injured men were shifted to the Army hospital in Drugmulla in Kupwara and then taken to a larger Army hospital in Srinagar, official sources said.
