UAE, Iran discuss relations

Dubai, Dec 5 (IANS/WAM) The United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Iran have held talks over enhancing bilateral relations and to ensure security and prosperity for the people of the region.

The discussions were held among Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE's foreign minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif, the visiting Iranian foreign minister, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the crown prince of Dubai, and Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, deputy ruler of Dubai.

Dubai is one of the seven emirates of the UAE.
