Abu Dhabi, Aug 14 (IANS/WAM) President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has sent a congratulatory cable to Indian President Pranab Mukherjee, on the occasion of his country's 68th Independence Day that will be celebrated Friday.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, vice president and prime minister of the UAE and ruler of Dubai, and Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, crown prince of Abu Dhabi and deputy supreme commander of the UAE Armed Forces, also dispatched similar cables on the occasion.
The UAE is home to around two million expatriate Indians.
