Cairo, April 20 (IANS/WAM) The UAE has participated in the activities of the 45th session of the high coordination committee of joint arab action under the chairmanship of Arab League Secretary General Nabil Elaraby.
Hani bin Huwaiden, a diplomat at the UAE embassy in Cairo, represented the country at the meeting on Tuesday.
Directors of joint arab action organisations and institutions took part in the event, which aimed to boost cooperation and the exchange of expertise among Arab League member states.
The two-day event covered coordination and cooperation among joint Arab action institutions, development and activation of the committee's work, and strengthen cooperation and the exchange of experiences between the Arab League and the UN.
