The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) on Monday announced the rescheduling of several European matches hosted by Turkish clubs.
The Turkish government decided to prolong daylight saving by not changing the schedule till October 30, unlike in the rest of Europe, reports Efe.
Turkey will be two hours ahead of Central European Time, or CET, instead of the current difference of one hour during this time.
As reported by UEFA on its website, "the kick-off times of certain matches in the second half of the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League group stages have been therefore impacted to accommodate the competition regulations requiring matches within a group to be played simultaneously on the last match day of the group stage."
List of modified games: Champions League
November 1 - Besiktas (TURKEY) - Napoli (Italy) .
November 23 - Besiktas (TURKEY) - Benfica (Portugal)
November 3 - Fenerbahce (TURKEY) - Manchester United (England)
November 24 - Fenerbahce (TURKEY) - Zorya Luhansk (Ukraine)
December 8 - Konyaspor (TURKEY) - Ghent (Belgium)
December 8 - Braga (PORTUGAL) - Shakhtar Donetsk (Ukraine)
December 8 - Osmanlispor (TURKEY) - Zurich (Switzerland)
