United Breweries Ltd on Monday reported Rs.48 crore net profit for second quarter of 2015-16 as against Rs.43 crore in the same period last year, registering 11.6 percent annual growth.
In a regulatory filing on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Monday, the city-based brewing major said total income, however, increased marginally 3.9 percent to Rs.1,133 crore for the quarter under review from Rs.1,086 crore in same period year ago.
Sequentially, net profit plunged 61 percent from Rs.123 crore posted in the first quarter.
