Veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty, who is currently undergoing physiotherapy sessions for a backache, will resume work next month, says his son Mahaakshay.
The 65-year-old actor has been laid low with back pain.
"My father is fine now. He is getting better. In fact, he is 80 percent better now. His physiotherapy sessions are going on, and he has this pain for the last two to three months. The doctor has suggested him to take bed rest for this month and resume to work by next year," Mahaakshay told IANS.
"He is at home, but not on bed rest. He is walking around, feeding his birds... He will get back to work by mid-January 2016 and for his next project, he will be flying abroad," he added.
