Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) will soon be available in tetra packs in a first-of-its-kind move in Uttar Pradesh.
The state cabinet on Tuesday approved a proposal to this effect, following which liquor will be available across the state in 180 ml tetra packs.
This was among 14 proposals that got the green signal at the cabinet meeting presided over by Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav on Tuesday.
Closed User Group (CUG) phones for government employees posted at the secretariat were also cleared by the cabinet.
Other decisions included approval of loans for construction of three roads.
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) will provide loans for the construction of the Muzaffarnagar-Badaut, Bulandshahr-Anoopshahr and Nanau-Dadau roads.
