BJP spokesperson MJ Akbar on Tuesday said the state bureaucracy was fed up of the Samajwadi Party-government led by Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav and was in a "rebellious mode".

The journalist-turned-politician told reporters here that due to the poor conduct of the Samajwadi Party (SP) minister, the state bureaucracy was uniting against the government.

Mis-governance and the poor law and order situation was forcing the officials in the state to come together, something which does not augur well, Akbar warned.

Alluding to the suspension of senior IPS official Amitabh Thakur, he said it was an indication that all was not well in the state.
