Former beauty queen Urvashi Rautela says she used to love celebrating Diwali with crackers, but now she supports an eco-friendly Diwali.
"I was a complete tomboy. I used to celebrate Diwali with rockets and bombs. Later, I changed, because a dangerous incident happened to my friend. After that, I became more mature and aware of what's happening to the earth," Urvashi said here.
"Now me and my entire family celebrate Diwali in an eco-friendly way," added the "Sanam Re" actress who finds Diwali a special festival.
"It brings lots of happiness for us. It is a festival of light, joy and happiness. This Diwali is more special because I am celebrating the festival with my family," she said.
Urvashi said she loves decorating the home with candles, making rangolis and dressing up in new clothes. Gorging on sweets is also something that she enjoys, but being in showbiz, she avoids sweets due to a strict fitness regime.
On the work front, it is rumoured that Urvashi will be seen doing an item number with Hrithik Roshan in his upcoming film "Kaabil".
Asked about it, she declined to talk about it, but said she is excited that a superstar like Hrithik liked her dance.
"Hrithik is someone I have always admired. Therefore, when he liked my work, it was an achievement for me."
She was last seen on screen in "Great Grand Masti".
