At least one person was killed in a mall shooting in the US state of Tennessee, prompting the evacuation of the entire building.
The incident took place at Opry Mills mall in Nashville on Thursday, when a young man opened fire on another after the two had a fight, Xinhua news agency reported. One of them later died in the hospital.
The shooter ran out of the mall after the attack to a ticket counter, gave up his firearm and told others to call the police. He was later taken into custody.
The shooting created temporary chaos inside the mall, one of the biggest in the state.
Dozens of ambulances and police vehicles gathered outside the building after the shooting and all of the mall's 200 stores and a movie theatre were evacuated.
