Uttar Pradesh: BJP state executive meet in Jhansi on August 6-7

The newly-formed state executive of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) would hold its maiden meeting at Jhansi on August 6-7, party spokesman Chandra Mohan said on Thursday.

The executive would be held at the Bhani Devi Goyal Saraswati Vidya Mandir and would be presided over by the party's state unit President Keshav Prasad Maurya.

Among others, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh, Union Water Resources Minister Uma Bharti and Micro And Small Enterprise Minister Kalraj Mishra would be attending the executive and guide party workers on the poll strategy for the state assembly elections scheduled for early 2017.
