Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday reached the AIIMS to enquire about former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee's health condition as it continued to be critical.
This was Modi's second visit to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in the last 24 hours since Wednesaday when the hospital issued a emergency bulletin saying the three time former Prime Minister was "critical and on life support".
He remained "critical and on life support" at the AIIMS even as the hospital came out with Thursday's bulletin.
A number of political leaders have visited the 93-year-old Bharatiya Janata Party stalwart since Saturday. Vajpayee has been at AIIMS for the last nine weeks since June 11.
