Filmmaker Sriram Raghavan, known for helming thrillers like "Ek Hasina Thi" and "Johnny Gaddaar", will roll the cameras for actor Varun Dhawan in a new movie starting early next year.
The yet untitled project will be produced by Saif Ali Khan's Illuminati Films.
"My next film will be with Varun Dhawan, and we will start shooting for the film by early next year. The film is yet untitled," Raghavan confirmed to IANS.
Raghavan was reluctant to reveal the genre of his next film.
"It's too early to talk about it. I am still scripting the film so let's see how things shape up. By end of July, we will finalise the leading lady for the film, and then we can probably talk about it," he added.
Varun, son of filmmaker David Dhawan, forayed into Bollywood with Karan Johar's "Student Of The Year", and he was noticed for his work.
