Telugu actor Venkatesh, through a new video on peer pressure, has urged people not to let others pull their strings. He says it's alright to be left out and not succumb to what others say.
Produced by Teenage Foundation, the video aims to caution one and all not to succumb to peer pressure and harm oneself. It also conveys to teenagers not to indulge in risky behaviour and to be assertive when they want to say NO.
In the video, Venkatesh explains that it's all fun and cool to indulge in smoking, drinking and taking drugs at the beginning.
It all starts with the want to try once, he says, adding that one continues doing it because they don't want to upset their friends.
He explains that in the end, it doesn't matter what others think.
