Actor Vijay and filmmaker A.R. Murugadoss are set to reunite for the third time for a yet-untitled Tamil project, slated to go on the floors from October, according to a source.
After delivering two Tamil blockbusters "Thuppakki" and "Kaththi", the two actors were gearing to register a hat-trick.
"The project will be bankrolled by Sun Pictures (distribution and production house) and it is most likely to roll from October. It's going to be made on a huge budget," a source close to Murugadoss told IANS.
"They were supposed to work together soon after "Kaththi". But for various reasons, the plan had to be postponed," the source added.
Sun Pictures last produced superstar Rajinikanth's "Enthiran" in 2010.
