Southern actress Vithika Sheru, who is playing one of the lead heroines in upcoming Telugu romantic-drama "Prema Ishq Kaadhal", has also donned the hat of a stylist for the film.
"Since my school days, I was interested in trying my hands as a designer. I also have a post-graduate diploma in fashion designing. So, when I got an opportunity to design, I was more than happy to grab it," Vithika told IANS.
She didn't try to get too experimental.
"Even though my director gave me total complete freedom to design, I didn't try to innovate too much because there was no need for it. I tried to keep it simple yet chic in a way to suit the setting of the film," she added.
Even though the 19-year old is keen on designing, she says acting is her priority.
"I have been an actor from a very young age and would like to stay one forever. Designing is more like a hobby and once in a while I don't mind putting it to use. But, my priority will always be acting," said the actress, whose tryst with showbiz began when she was just 11.
She started as a child actor and did TV serials in Telugu, and later, at 15, she did her first Kannada film "Anthu Inthu Preethi Banthu".
So far, Vithika has also already worked in two Tamil films - "Uyir Mozhi" and "Vedikkai", and she will soon start working on her untitled third Tamil project.
She is paired opposite Harshvardhan Rane in "Prema Ishq Kaadhal", which also features Vishnu, Harish, Rithu Varma and Srimukhi.
