Delhi saw a warm Saturday with the maximum temperature being recorded three notches above the season's average at 37.5 degrees Celsius. The met department has forecast light rain Sunday.
"The sky will be cloudy on Sunday and very light rain is expected," said an Indian Meteorological Department official.
The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 36 and 27 degrees Celsius, respectively.
The minimum temperature Saturday was a notch above average at 27.6 degrees Celsius while humidity levels wavered between a high of 81 percent and a low of 51 percent.
